My dream kitchen will have to wait a few more years. I'm thinking phase 22 of the reno? Unless of course I win a kitchen makeover before then. And trust me, I'm trying!
In the meantime however, I'm making do with my orange extravaganza.

| One day I'll have real butcher block counters! |
As, as you can see there's hardly any counter space, but what I do have is faux butcher block countertops and basic, banged up Ikea low budget cabinets. I love the wood floors but they have really seen better days. I'm half tempted to paint them white. Is that c-r-a-z-y? I want to hear from all you painted floor fans!
You'll notice my fridge and stove are crying out for more personal space between them.
I must say I'm loving open shelving. I think the new kitchen reno will have to include this too. And I've decided the organge colour really has to go. Perhaps a Martha Stewart Robin's egg blue greenish? Stay tuned for a new kitchen paint colour, coming this fall!
